How to remove a site from a Mozilla Firefox specific container

Firefox Containers allow you to isolate your online identities and activities into separate containers, each with their own browsing context. If you want to remove a site from a specific container, you can follow these general steps:

  1. Open Firefox Browser:
Open your Firefox browser if it’s not already open.
  2. Access Container Settings:
Click the three horizontal lines (menu icon) in the top-right corner of the browser to open the menu. Then click on “Add-ons” or “Extensions.”
  3. Manage Containers:
In the Add-ons or Extensions section, find and select the extension that manages your containers. The extension’s name is usually “Multi-Account Containers.”
  4. Access Container Options:
Within the extension settings, there should be an option to manage your containers. Click on it to see the list of containers you have created.
  5. Edit Container:
Locate the container from which you want to remove the site. There might be an edit or settings icon (often represented by a pencil icon) next to the container’s name. Click on it.
  6. Manage Sites:
Inside the container settings, there should be an option to manage the sites associated with that container. Click on it.
  7. Remove Site:
You should see a list of sites that are currently associated with the container. Find the site you want to remove and click on a button or option to remove it from the container.
  8. Save Changes:
After you’ve removed the site, there might be a “Save” or “Apply” button. Click on it to save the changes you made to the container’s settings.
  9. Close and Check:
Close the extension settings and go back to your normal browsing. Make sure the site you removed is no longer associated with the container.

Please note that the exact steps might vary based on updates to the Firefox browser, extensions, or changes that have occurred after my last update. If you can’t find the exact options or if the steps have changed, I recommend checking the official Firefox support documentation or the documentation for the specific extension you’re using for the most up-to-date instructions.

Always make sure you are careful when modifying browser settings or extensions, as it can affect your browsing experience.
